Two balloons are revolutionising the world. And, so far, they are in a class of their own.
The double balloon endoscopy method is as simple as it is inspired: two balloons are inflated independently of one another and are used to examine the entire small intestine in steps of about 40 cm, along the lines of the push-and-pull principle.
FICE diagnostics without dye staining.
lntelligent Color Enhancement tool (FICE) is an optional software application that can be integrated in the EPX-4400 processor. The touch of a button suffices to select FICE in order to identify lesions more accurately.
As a computer-controlled virtual endoscopy, FICE digitally limits the light wavelength ranges and produces images in brilliant colour and light quality. Thanks to the newly developed algorithm it is possible to choose from several different wavelength combinations to achieve a differentiated depiction of the mucous membranes, depending on the localisation and the task in hand.
HDHR - high definition and high resolution quality for images of exceptional brilliance.
HDHR produces high-definition images of an exceptionally brilliant quality while simultaneously delivering a powerful statement for your diagnoses and therapies. The progressive line scan facility featured in the Super CCD series eliminates stripe formation and the line flickering that occurs when using the conventional interlaced technique. Anatomic structures are more clearly delineated and images in motion flow more smoothly.
Documentation and system integration to optimise your processes.
The Digital lmaging Gateway (DIG) makes it easier to connect the Visionary Endoscopy Tower to the hospital networks via Dicom interfaces. At the same time it optimises the documentation workflow in your endoscopy department. The data relating to patients awaiting endoscopy can be prepared by a central hospital server in the form of a work schedule. Following the examination, the resulting images are collated with the patient’s particulars and automatically forwarded to a PACS system.
In conjunction with ADAM, it is possible to upgrade the Fujinon Visionary Endoscopy Tower with a reporting and patient documentation system especially geared to endoscopic requirements, including the documentation of preparatory data.
