Diagnosis without staining

Fuji Intelligent Color Enhancement (FICE) is a software application that can be optionally incorporated into the EPX-4400 processor. FICE can be switched on by pressing a button, so that lesions can be recognised in a more targeted way.

The process involves digitally limiting the light’s wavelength range and provides images in brilliant colour and lighting quality. Thanks to the newly developed algorithm, it is possible to select a large number of wavelength combinations for a differentiated display of the mucosa — depending on the location and issue being examined.
